MAKHADZI SLAMS CLAIMS SHE OWES PRODUCER R16K

South Africa (  Times Live ) Makhadzi has poured cold water on claims she owes money to producer and DJ Rabs Vhafuwi.

Rabs shared screenshots of his private conversation with the musician on his social platforms where they discussed Makhadzi settling a payment of R16,500. This was allegedly for postponing an event after she performed two songs.

The singer took to her personal Facebook account lashing out at the claims.

“The worst thing is you lied to the owner of the club that I wanted more money and still give me peanuts. I took it because I was supporting your hustle! Litshani mbilu nntswu ndihone zwitshido tshimbila zwithu zwanu. Clean your heart, brother

“I came to your show, and you decided to postpone. Ndo swika I declined other shows because of your show. Are you going to give me the money I lost? You even gave me the mic to announce that you are postponing a show and still play two songs. Is that performance for free? I am not your toy, I am not going to give you the money back athithoyiii nne!”

This is not the first time Makhadzi has had a tiff with event organisers.

In April, Sunday World reported Makhadzi was booked by businessman Jeffrey Malatji to perform at Ejays Lounge in Moime village outside Tzaneen and quoted him saying she did not attend the show because she was not paid.

“It’s a lie, they’ve never booked Makhadzi … ask them to send you an invoice from us or POP (proof of payment) they made to Open Mic or Makhadzi — there is no such a thing,” Open Productions Mic label manager Brenden Maseko told TshisaLIVE in response.
